Setup

Up and running in five steps.

    Download

    Get the Rove disk image (.dmg) for Mac.

  2. 2

    Open it

    Double-click the downloaded file to open it.

  3. 3

    Move to Applications

    Drag Rove into your Applications folder.

  4. 4

    Open Rove

    Launch Rove from Applications or Launchpad.

  5. 5

    Connect your account

    Sign in with your eligible ChatGPT account through Codex when Rove asks.

Rove uses Codex through your eligible ChatGPT account for model-assisted work. Your account's usage limits apply.

No separate API key is needed, and this website doesn't need an account.

Your data

Task history and the files Rove creates stay on your Mac. Context needed for a task is sent to Codex/OpenAI and services you authorize.
